New Welcome to Cloverdale Signs Installed!  

The Chamber of Commerce completed the installation of two "Welcome to Cloverdale" Signs at the Citrus Fair and north entrances to town. The new signs are the result of an effort from the Chamber, Sonoma County Tourism, the City and Fletcher Fabrication. We at the City are very thankful for these efforts, our new signs look great!

Friday Night Live Is Back!!

Brought to you by the Cloverdale Arts Alliance (CAA), Friday July 2nd FNL is back!  The music starts at 6:00 p.m. This is the 18th season of weekly outdoor concerts in Cloverdale’s downtown plaza and will run through October 2nd.  Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns CAA has built in a cushion by slating the series to begin about a month later than usual. So come on down and enjoy some great music and food. Hope to see you there! 


City Council Planning Commission Joint Workshop July 14th

A joint workshop with the City Council and Planning Commission is scheduled for July 14th, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. This virtual workshop will focus on housing in Cloverdale.  The first half of the workshop will provide an update on recent housing law changes. Followed by an update on the City’s efforts update both the Downtown and Transit Oriented Development Zoning Districts. Please check the City Website for additional information. 

City's Update on Drought Response 


The City's efforts to conserve water are paying off, but we need to work a little harder as a community to reach our goal of a 25% reduction. The graph below shows the 2020 water use compared to 2021 and our goal of a 25% reduction.  You can see we have not quite made our reduction goal, but we are getting there. See pictures below for some helpful tips on saving water.

 City Actions to address on going drought conditions:

  1. Implemented a Hydrant Meter Monitoring Program and pulled some hydrant meters.  Staff is monitoring hydrant meters closely.
  2. Parks staff set irrigation controllers to reduce irrigation at all City Parks and facilities by 25% on April 29th.
  3. Established a Water Waste Notice to notify residents of water waste (see attached picture).
  4. Implemented an Electronic Meter Register replacement program (in progress).
  5. Deployed a firm called Leak Detection Pros to survey and identify leaks in the water system.  City staff was deployed quickly to repair identified previously unidentified water leaks.
  6. Increased monitoring by the Police and Parks Department to reduce /eliminate water theft from city water facilities.

Make a Splash with the Y at the Cloverdale Veterans Pool 

Starting June 16th, the Cloverdale Pool is Open Tuesday-Sunday as follows:


Noon-5pm Rec Swim
5pm-7pm Lap Swim

Pool Guidelines:

  1. Open to children and adults. A recreational swim encouraging family fun.
  2. Children age 6 and under must have an adult in the water with them at all times. Approved swim diapers are required for all children under 3 years old.
  3. Children ages 7-9, who can swim unassisted, must have an adult in the pool area while they are swimming.
  4. Children ages 10-12 must have an adult on the pool deck while they are in the pool.
  5. If the child cannot swim, an adult must be in the pool with the child.
  6. Any flotation device must be Coast Guard approved. Any child wearing a life jacket must be accompanied by an adult regardless of swimming ability or age.

Day Use Fees:
Family Swim Pass: $10
Adult Swim Pass: $5
Youth Swim Pass: $4
Senior (55+) Swim Pass: $4
Y Members: Free
