City Encourages Residents to Conserve Water / Eliminate Water Waste

City staff prepared a Water Waste Notice Door Hanger to notify residents about possible water waste that may be occurring on their property.  The door hanger is intended to notify water customers about water waste activities such as excess irrigation resulting in runoff, broken irrigation lines, water leaks or other non essential uses identified in the Cloverdale Municipal Code.  A picture of the door hanger is identified below. This is intended to assist customers with water waste activities that may go unnoticed!

City Arborist Performs Safety Pruning of Street Trees

Parks staff under the guidance of our City Arborist Hector Galvan pruned a leaning Acacia tree located on University Street to temporarily alleviate the lean and address potential limb failure. Weight reduction pruning was also performed to aid in preventing potential hazards to passing pedestrians and vehicle traffic. Hector followed up and contacted the property management company in charge of the adjacent property and provided recommendations for further treatment of the tree by the property owners. Residents are requested to report unsafe street trees to our Parks staff by calling (707) 894-1701.
