Vaccine Distribution Update
Sonoma County has now administered more than 150,000 vaccines, of which 100,000 doses have been administered since the beginning of February. As of Wednesday, 108,737 residents have received at least one dose or more than 26 percent of the county’s adult (16+) population. Sonoma County’s vaccination campaign will phase into the third-party administrator, Blue Shield, purview on Monday, March 7. Once Sonoma County fully transitions to this new system through Blue Shield, all vaccination appointments will be made through the state’s My Turn website, myturn.ca.gov.
