Alexander Valley Healthcare began offering drive-thru vaccines at the Cloverdale Train Depot this week to eligible individuals including healthcare workers and those 65 years and older, living in Cloverdale, Geyserville, and Hopland. Appointments were filled quickly this week but there will be future vaccinations periods. 2021 Economic Perspective

On January 28th, the Sonoma County Economic Development Board hosted the 2021 Economic Perspective. The Keynote speaker Dr. Jerry Nickelsburg, UCLA Anderson Forecast & Adjunct Professor of Economics presented an overview of Sonoma County's economic landscape and how it is been shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event highlighted key recovery actions by Sonoma County and its nine cities.  The City of Cloverdale featured its Resilient Cloverdale initiative. Resilient Cloverdale continues to convene to develop and implement integrated readiness/response strategies. Resilient Cloverdale's mission to ensure the community's response to emergencies and disasters is provided equitably to all members with a focus on Cloverdale's most vulnerable populations. Efforts include coordination of community organizations for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. Celebrate the 129th Annual Cloverdale Citrus Fair! Although the fair will look a little different this year, it will be providing some fair-time fun “drive-thru style." Drought Tolerant Plants

6th Biennial Russian River-Friendly Landscaping Event

The Russian River Watershed Association is hosting virtual workshops on February 2 and 3 from 1-3:30p.m. One workshop will will demonstrate why a landscape with a healthy ‘soil sponge’ provides widespread social, environmental, and economic benefits. The second workshop will offer practical strategies for managing urban lands, forests, and farmland with limited water resources to provide a water continuum.
