Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program

California's Small Business Grant funding application period is open. Round One applications closes January 13, 2021 at 11:59 PM. Applications will be reviewed to determine whether the applicant meets the eligibility requirements. Eligible businesses will then be scored based on COVID-19 impact factors incorporated into the Program’s priority criteria so that distribution can take into account priority key factors. The amount of grant funding ranges from $5,000 to $25,000. Businesses are eligible based on their annual revenue as documented in their most recent tax return. Business License Renewals

The City released the 2021 business license renewal form on January 5th. The renewal forms were mailed by regular mail. The payment due date was extended to Monday, February 15, 2021.  Renewals can be paid by mail, over the phone or through the payment portal on the City's website.  Click here to pay online using your current business license number and amount due.  If assistance retrieving your existing business license number or license amount ($) is needed, please email customerservice@ci.cloverdale.ca.us  or call (707) 894-1700.

Acting Sergeant Ricky Rhodes Graduates Leadership Development Course

Acting Sergeant Ricky Rhodes successfully graduated from the Leadership Development Course presented by On-Base-Learning.  This course is an intensive six-month course designed to prepare patrol level officers for leadership roles as they advance in their careers.  Sergeant Rhodes was one of many law enforcement officers enrolled in the course which began in December 2019 but was suspended due to the current Pandemic. Congratulations on your accomplishment Sergeant Rhodes!

Police Department Warns Against Catalytic Converter Thieves!

Recently catalytic converter thefts have occurred right here in Cloverdale.  These are very expensive devices to replace on your car. Within the past two days the theft of a catalytic converter took place from a Prius belonging to one of our residents.  A camera caught a glimpse of what was described as two males in a black SUV type vehicle likely related to the crime. Healdsburg Police were alerted to a catalytic converter theft in progress yesterday and arrested two men after a vehicle pursuit.  The converter was recovered. The thefts typically take place in the early morning to pre-daylight hours.  Park and Ride lots are common targets as well as residential neighborhoods.  Please pay attention to suspicious people in your neighborhood and report suspicious activity to

County Vaccine as of January 6, 2021

Sonoma County Vaccine Distribution Plan

As of Jan. 6th, 8,046 Sonoma County residents have been vaccinated. Sonoma County is using its direct shipments to vaccinate healthcare workers including staff of behavioral health hospitals, first responders and others that qualify under Phase 1a prioritization. 

The County’s vaccine distribution website will be continually updated, giving the public detailed information about the vaccination rollout, safety and how the vaccine is being disseminated in Sonoma County. COVID 19 Testing

New Free COVID-19 Testing Sites

Free COVID-19 Neighborhood Testing continues. Sonoma County Department of Health Services is conducting free, confidential testing for those that live or work in Sonoma County. Please click on the link below to select a location and make an appointment (you do not need to create an account to make an appointment). Testing is provided in Cloverdale in the parking lot at Alexander Valley Healthcare located at 6 Tarman Drive on Mondays from 9:30-11:30.  Each individual must schedule their appointment separately. *If you need help making appointments for multiple family members or young children, call the hotline at 707-565-4667.  All residents of Sonoma County can receive testing regardless of immigration status. Blood Drive

Fire Departments' Annual Bucket Brigade Blood Drive Challenge

Vitalant, in coordination with 21 fire departments across Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties, is proud to announce the 15th Annual Bucket Brigade Blood Drive Challenge. The Challenge is a friendly competition among participating fire departments to see which department can host the largest blood drive between December and January by enlisting firefighters, friends, family and members of the community to donate lifesaving blood.  To make an appointment, at the Cloverdale Fire Protection District on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 1:30-6p.m.,Fire Station: 451 S. Volunteers Wanted

Volunteers are critical to ending hunger in our community. Every month the Food Bank relies on their generous support. Spend a two or three-hour shift with friends, family, and colleagues and help feed our neighbors in need. All volunteers are required to bring a face covering and all volunteer work is done outside of the facility, located at 3990 Brickway Blvd., Santa Rosa.
