The Cloverdale Police Department (CPD) is dedicated to preserving the community's peace while adhering to the highest level of ethical standards and professional conduct. As a multifunction agency, CPD is charged with many duties including the prevention and detection of criminal activity, apprehension of offenders, protection of life and property, enforcement of laws and ordinances, dispatch and coordination of emergency services, and several non-law enforcement services including animal control, fingerprinting, issuing permits, public information and records requests, and school crossing guards.
