The Human Resources Department strives to deliver innovative and timely Human Resource services to our diverse community and staff by attracting, hiring, and retaining highly qualified employees, maintaining an inclusive workplace environment, creating and enhancing opportunities for career growth, and offering competitive salaries and benefits. To accomplish this goal, the Human Resources Department provides the following services: Oversees the employee recruitment process, negotiates and administers labor agreements, develops, revises, and administers the City's personnel polices, procedures, and risk  management, coordinates Citywide training initiatives, and creates and maintains the City's classification and compensation system including position descriptions, salary schedules, and benefits administration.
