The Cloverdale Police Department is a multifunction agency charged with many duties, including:
 

  • Prevention and detection of criminal activity
  • Apprehension of offenders
  • Protection of life and property
  • Enforcement of laws and ordinances
  • Dispatch and coordination of emergency services
  • Non-law enforcement services:
    • Animal control
    • Fingerprinting
    • Issuing permits
    • Public information
    • School crossing guards
