City Council
Cloverdale is a General Law city with five City Council members elected at-large. The Mayor is appointed annually by a majority vote of Council members. The Mayor serves as ceremonial head of the city and presides over all City Council meetings. The City Council appoints the City Manager, City Attorney, and members of Boards and Commissions. Additionally, the City Council sits as the Board of Directors for the Community Development Agency. Members of the City Council also serve on various regional government committees and agencies.
City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cloverdale Senior Center, 311 N. Main St, Cloverdale CA, 95425.
